What Merkwell is

Merkwell is an internal application. It signs in with Google (OAuth) to use the Google Ads API. Lantis, Tilen Poje s.p. uses it to advertise websites Merkwell owns (merkwell.com, merkwell.de, merkwell.eu). It is not a public product. It is not a client Ads manager.

What the application does (features)

These are the functions of the Merkwell application after Google sign-in.

  Connect to the LANTIS Google Ads manager so the owner can authorize the app.

  List Search campaigns

  Show campaigns and performance (clicks, cost, conversions) for merkwell.com, merkwell.de, and merkwell.eu.

  Create, pause, and enable

  Create, pause, and enable Search campaigns, ad groups, ads, and keywords.

  Set daily budgets

  Change the daily budget on Merkwell’s own Search campaigns.

  Download a report

  Download a simple performance report for those campaigns.

Why Merkwell requests Google user data

Without Google sign-in, Merkwell cannot read or change Ads campaigns. The app asks for this data so it can operate Merkwell’s own Search ads.

  So we know who signed in.

  Accessible customers, campaigns, ads, keywords, budgets, performance, and conversion actions.

We use it only for Merkwell’s own advertising. We do not sell it. We do not use it to run ads for clients. We do not use it to train models.
